Get Involved
The most powerful thing you can give is attention
This movement runs on shared stories and learned signs, not dollars. Every share puts the warning signs in front of someone who may need them right now.
-
Learn the signs, then teach them
Read the warning signs until they stick. Mention them at dinner. Tell your group chat. Awareness spreads one conversation at a time.
-
Share Alicia's story
Stories stay with people longer than lists. Her story is the reason someone will take their own symptoms seriously.
-
Tell us your story
Are you a survivor, a caregiver, or someone who lost a person you love? Your story could push the next person to get scanned. Share it with us.
-
Check on somebody
Someone in your life is dismissing their own symptoms right now. Ask them the question Alicia never got: “That's been going on for weeks. Have you had it looked at?”
-
Bring us to your community
Workplaces, gyms, salons, schools, clinics: anywhere people talk about health. Reach out about awareness materials and partnerships.
-
Stay close
The foundation is just beginning. Events, materials, and ways to give are coming. Ask to be kept in the loop and we will.
A note on donations: we aren't accepting them yet. When the foundation's charitable status is finalized, there will be a way to give, announced right here. Until then, your attention and your shares are the donation.
Awareness isn't abstract. It's one person, telling one person, at the right time.
